Meet Hannah

Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Child Consultant, and

Founder of The Resolution Suites.

Hannah Hopkinson is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and child consultant with a background in psychology. Her work is informed by psychology, child development, conflict resolution, and social work, together with an understanding of how family relationships are shaped by broader social and family contexts.

Hannah works with individuals and families navigating conflict, separation, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions.

She helps people gain clarity, navigate difficult conversations, understand differing perspectives, and make informed decisions during times of conflict and change.

Her work is grounded in a simple belief: people make better decisions, communicate more effectively, and navigate conflict more constructively when they feel safe, respected, and heard.

Clarity, calm, and
a way forward.

Why the room
matters

The spaces where difficult conversations occur matter.

Privacy, dignity and emotional safety influence how people communicate, think and make decisions.

That's why Hannah created

The Resolution Suites

— a purpose-designed environment that supports calm conversations, careful decision-making and respectful resolution.

The Mediation Process

Every matter begins with an individual intake consultation.

This allows Hannah to understand each family's circumstances, assess suitability for mediation, identify any safety considerations, and determine the process most likely to support productive conversations and informed decision-making.

Mediation is not a one-size-fits-all process. Some matters are best suited to joint discussions, while others may require shuttle arrangements, individual preparation sessions, or additional support before mediation proceeds.

The intake process also provides an opportunity to clarify priorities, understand differing perspectives, and consider the most appropriate pathway forward.

By taking the time to understand each family's circumstances from the outset, Hannah is able to design a process that supports privacy, dignity, meaningful participation, and constructive outcomes for everyone involved.

All in-person services are delivered from The Resolution Suites, a purpose-designed environment for mediation, child consultations, family conflict resolution, and difficult conversations.
